Singer-songwriter Katie Tuck started her musical journey at the young age of twelve. Being a Tennessee native, Katie grew up listening to a mixture of country, pop, and rock music. Katie’s rich and powerful voice captivates listeners. By the age of fifteen, Tuck already recorded in the notorious “Sound Kitchen” of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010, Tuck’s first single, a powerful country ballad called “I Wanna Be That Girl,” caught the attention of many well-respected music insiders including Grammy award winning songwriter Liz Rose, best known for her work with then country superstar Taylor Swift (“White Horse,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” “You Belong With Me”). Katie’s original song “You” resulted from a co-writing union with Liz Rose.
Katie signed a Major Management Contract with Copeland Entertainment in the Fall of 2012. Currently, Katie is recording her first alternative pop EP, recording regularly at Studio City Sound under the direction Copeland Entertainment and Grammy Award winner Tom Weir. She has caught the interest of Major Records Labels in Los Angeles and Nashville.
